My name is Berna Datema. I live in the Netherlands just about 35 miles from Amsterdam. I am married to Harry and we have two children: Laila, a girl (born in 1996) and Noah, a boy from 1998.

Next to designing for digital scrapbooking I write and make illustrations for (mostly childrens') books.
I used to design for fashion and that was also my major in designing school. I designed clothes for big companies for many years, but I love books in all it's shapes and facets so much that I retired from being a fashion designer and now designing for digital scrapbooking is my major business.

My hobbies besides scrapbooking are traveling, reading, going to the movies, styling my living space and garden, canoeing, fitness and everything that's got to do with the sea.

My favorite cities here in Europe besides Amsterdam are Paris and my number 1: Barcelona.

My favorite music is when my DD studies piano (she's good) and my DS is studying drums (not so good yet) at the same time.

I love being at home all the time and take care of the kids.
